Finvasia - Assistant Manager - Accounts

Job Summary:

The Asst Accounts Manager will oversee all financial activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead the financial team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, especially within the fintech or forex industry.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee financial activities for our overseas projects, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

- Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including but not limited to, bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.

- Proficient in handling multi-currency transactions and well-versed with SAP accounting software.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports for management review.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements related to overseas projects.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline financial processes.

- Participate in financial audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.

- Maintain a strong control environment, implementing and monitoring financial policies and procedures.

- Monitor cash flow and financial health of overseas projects, providing insights for decision-making.

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

- In-depth knowledge of taxation and other compliances related to international projects.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Should have 5-7 years of experience in the field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven experience in a similar role within a financial service or fintech firm.

- Extensive experience with SAP and other financial management systems.

- Knowledge of EU financial regulations and frameworks would be an advantage.

- Adaptability to different cultures and understanding of global business practices.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
