Job Description
- As a software developer at FIS, you will be part of a dynamic and talented team working on challenging and relevant financial services and technology issues. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development process by providing innovative solutions and following best practices and methodologies. Your responsibilities will include resolving technical roadblocks, ensuring timely completion of assigned work, writing technical documents, and continuously improving the quality of development team deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough understanding of the technology roadmap and advancement to design/development process
- Resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies
- Working with Tech Leads to ensure efficient and on-time delivery of work meeting business requirements
- Writing technical documents
- Improving the quality of development team deliverables
- Conducting code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing efficiently
- Participating in the production deployment of application components
- Assisting in problem identification, isolation, resolution, and communication within the production environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience in Angular 2/4/5/6/7/8/9, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Typescript, AWS
- Hands-on experience in building applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC

- Proficiency in OOP and other programming concepts
- Experience with Soap/Rest web services, Bootstrap, and UI development toolkits/frameworks
- Working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems
