What does a great Specialist, Software Development Engineering do?
Collaborate with Finance and Treasury business group of Financial System Team and help organization to solve complex business problems and build sophisticated business solutions in SAP Treasury module.
Role Description –
As Specialist, Software Development Engineer you would be responsible to Analyze, plan, design, configure and test SAP Finance and Accounting solution to meet the business and regulatory needs leveraging knowledge on SAP Finance and Treasury.
Your focus will be on applying Finance and Accounting business process knowledge and translating the business requirements into SAP by configuring SAP Finance and Accounting module to build state of the art solutions in Finance. The role focuses on building and integrating complex and large ERP systems that make up the core systems for the organization. You will be responsible for configuring, unit testing, and integrating and deploying solutions in the SAP Finance module of S4 HANA system. Development efforts will also include feature enhancements, implementations, and bug fixes as well as support of the production environment
What You Will Do

• Design and perform configuration in SAP software functionality of New General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Tax, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Project Costing, Results Analysis, Revenue recognition and Profitability Analysis
• Work with the Business and technical leads to Plan, co-ordinate and execute technical projects from task assignment to completion.
• Organize the work efforts and prioritize the tasks to achieve the SLAs for timely completion of the Production support deliverables.
• Execute the project deliverables by collaborating with the on-site technical and business teams. Analyze existing business processes, working with the business units to identify best practices by covering the SAP cross functional integration with all modules.
• Analyze the root cause of system functionality defects and provide design assistance to resolve the issues. Address and resolve system functionality support issues via configuration, SAP note application and recommending developments.
• 
  Develop functional specifications for custom developments and provide functional support for the development team. Conduct system integration testing and assist the business users in completing the user acceptance testing, to complete the functionality validation before recommending the release of changes to the production environment.
• Collaborate with the business systems leaders to identify, research and propose functionality improvement opportunities in the financial systems technology roadmap..
  

What You Will Need To Have

• Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP Finance (preferably S4HANA) and SAP Accounting
• Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP Finance & Accounting implementations, including hands-on design and configuration experience or exposure to 3-4 projects in the capacity of functional consultant or lead.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance & Accounting module experience.
• Strong knowledge in SAP Bank Account Management BAM, Bank Communication management BCM, Treasury Payments, Cash Management
• Comprehensive knowledge of FI, Costing including profitability analysis, New General Ledger, fund management.
• Expertise in cash and liquidity Management.
• Expertise in Banking, customer cash application, outgoing payment processing.
• Functional expertise in several Finance areas including General Ledger Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center
  

What Would Be Great To Have

• Strong background of Finance like CA, B. Com, M.Com, MBA, PMP, CPA, CTP, FRM or CFA
• S4 HANA FINANCE certification
