Role Description
- We are seeking a full-time Market Strategy Planning Manager modrn trade who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that position our over-the-counter products effectively in the market. The position is located in Gurugram and involves on-site work. The day-to-day tasks of this role include conducting market research, tracking trends, analyzing consumer data, identifying new market opportunities, and liaising with cross-functional teams to drive growth.
- The location of the job will be in Gurgaon and will require handling both Pharmacies, Retail shops, beauty stores , General Trade & Modern Trade
- Candidates from FMCG or companies catering to beauty industry will be given advantage, candidates from DABUR, Galderma, LOREAL, UNILEVER & P&G are preferred..
Job Responsibilities:
- Faster execution of channel expansion, adding POS at a faster pace.
- Develop Sales strategy and budgets to achieve and exceed the annual sales objective for the region.
- Monitor and control the sales budgets to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region
- Devise Brand: SKU and channel wise sales and distribution strategy to achieve sales objectives
- Monitor the capability and the quality of the distributor in the region. Enhance the distribution strength
- Drive manpower and capability development plans for both direct and indirect sales force
- Conduct regular market visits to understand and assess the market execution; competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities to increase the sales
- Implement trade promotions and ensure rigorous tracking and evaluation of trade spending
- Ensure regular performance reviews and drive a high-performance culture
- Planning with the team to execute channel expansion and new town expansion
- Monitoring merchandising standards, planogram, and product visibility in the market with dominance as per company norms
- Forecasting of monthly and quarterly sales of all major brands and SKUs to plan and execute optimum result

Key Competencies:
- Bachelor&aposs degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer product marketing.
- Strong understanding of market research and consumer behavior trends
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into strategy and execution plans
- Travel will be need based
