Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Power BI Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building interactive dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization.
Your responsibilities will include working closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as build data models using Power Query, DAX, and relational databases. It will be essential to optimize the performance of reports and datasets for large-scale usage and integrate Power BI with various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud services. Additionally, you will implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and data governance policies, collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data accuracy, quality, and security, provide end-user training and support for Power BI adoption, and stay updated with the latest Power BI and Microsoft Data Platform features.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of experience working with Power BI. You must possess strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling, as well as hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases. Proficiency in creating measures, KPIs, and drill-through dashboards, strong knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts, and the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to provide business insights are crucial. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also required.
Additionally, the following qualifications would be preferred or considered advantageous:
- Experience with Azure Data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataverse).
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for extended use cases.
- Experience in row-level security, data security, and governance frameworks.

- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
