As we scale globally, we are looking for a versatile leader to join us as Chief of Staff & Director of Business Operations, a role designed to streamline execution, drive growth, and act as a strategic partner to the CEO.
Role Overview:
This hybrid role combines Chief of Staff responsibilities (supporting and partnering with the CEO directly) with Business Operations leadership (managing sales, marketing, and pre-sales functions).
- The role will ensure the CEOs time is focused on strategic priorities.
- Build and run scalable business processes across sales and marketing.
- Act as the connective tissue across leadership, teams, and external stakeholders.
- Represent FlintLab alongside the CEO at events and partner meetings.
As FlintLab grows, this role has the potential to evolve into COO with full operational ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Chief of Staff to CEO
- Partner with the CEO to set priorities, track execution, and ensure follow-through.
- Manage scheduling, briefings, and meeting preparation to maximize CEO effectiveness.
- Accompany the CEO to key events, customer meetings, and conferences; ensure follow-up actions are executed.
- Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for strategic decisions.
Director of Business Operations
Sales & Pre-Sales:
Oversee lead generation, pipeline management, and sales enablement.
Support pre-sales activities, including demos, proposals, and customer onboarding.
Marketing:
- Manage brand presence, campaigns, events, and digital marketing efforts.
- Drive messaging consistency across channels to strengthen FlintLabs market positioning.
Operations & Alignment:
- Build scalable processes across sales, marketing, and customer success.
- Create dashboards, metrics, and reporting for leadership visibility.

- Ensure cross-functional collaboration between business and product/engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, sales/marketing leadership, or strategy roles.
- Prior startup or high-growth tech company experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to represent the company effey externally.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills; able to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
- Willingness to travel with the CEO for events, client meetings, and collaborations.
