Role Overview:
As a Manager Business Development at Flipkart, based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing key vendors to expand and enhance our product offerings. You will work closely with internal teams, including category management, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless vendor integration and optimal performance. Your efforts will directly contribute to driving revenue growth, improving customer experience, and strengthening Flipkart's market position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and onboard new vendors by conducting market research, evaluating potential partners, and negotiating favorable terms to expand product selection and improve competitiveness.


- Manage vendor relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, addressing concerns, and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure consistent supply and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendor performance by analyzing sales data, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing promotional campaigns to maximize revenue.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vendor performance by tracking sales, inventory levels, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including category management, marketing, and supply chain, by sharing insights, coordinating activities, and ensuring alignment on business objectives to drive overall business growth.
- Manage a portfolio of vendors by setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing regular feedback to ensure vendors are meeting expectations and contributing to Flipkart's success.

- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships effectively.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize vendor performance and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Bachelor's degree/PG in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in vendor onboarding, vendor management, portfolio management, and account management within the e-commerce industry.
