Marketing & Growth Intern (Junior Role, Remote)

Im building a few indie products in the productivity & AI space like Focusmo, and Im looking for ajunior marketer / growth internwho wants to learn and experiment with me.

If you love trying different marketing ideas, analyzing what worked, and turning that into real users & revenue, this will be fun. Youll work directly with the founder (me) and see the full journey, not just a tiny slice.

You wont just make posts. Youll help design & run small experiments like:

• Researchingwhere our audience hangs out(Reddit, X, Discord, communities, etc.)
• Draftingposts, DMs, and simple email sequencesto get users and conversations
• Helping withbasic SEO tasks: finding keywords, planning blog topics, writing briefs
• Talking to users: reading their feedback, summarizing insights, suggesting changes
• Tracking simple metrics: clicks, signups, replies, conversions from each experiment
• Testing differentangles & hooksfor the same product and seeing what converts better

Youll start small, with clear, simple tasks and well scale up as you get comfortable.

You dont need fancy degrees. I care more about how you think and how you work.

If you already love Reddit, X, or niche online communities, thats a big plus.

This internship is verypractical and experiment-heavy. Youll see:

• How an indie founder thinks abouttraction, funnels, and what to do next
• How to design a simplegrowth experiment, measure it, and decide if its worth scaling
• How to position a product differently for different audiences (angle testing)
• How to talk to users without being salesy or spammy
• How to think in terms ofresults (signups, revenue, replies)instead of just content

If you want to become a strong marketer, founder, or growth person, this will give you real reps.

• Time:1020 hours per week (flexible, well decide together)
• Duration:12 months to start (extendable if we both like working together)
• Stipend:10k - ?50k / month + Commission (based on hours & experience)
