Job Overview
This job description outlines the requirements and responsibilities for a Quality Assurance professional who will be integral in ensuring the quality of software products across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of QA methodologies, have experience in software development and testing, and be adept at identifying, documenting, and resolving defects. Experience with game or 3D project testing, as well as automation skills, are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans.

• Issue Resolution: Identify and facilitate the resolution of issues in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
• Beta Program Management: Manage software beta test programs.
• Test Result Documentation: Document and clearly communicate test results.
• Specification Analysis: Review and analyse system specifications to understand testing requirements.
• Test Execution & Analysis: Consistently execute test cases (both manual and automated) and analyse the results in a timely manner.
• Defect Logging: Generate detailed logs to document testing phases and identified defects.
• Collaboration with Development: Work closely with the development team to understand requirements from a quality assurance perspective.
• Root Cause Analysis: Help troubleshoot issues and determine the root cause of faulty products.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Bug Management: Effectively find, reproduce, and accurately report issues with detailed descriptions of the bugs.

• Educational Background: A bachelors or masters degree in engineering.
• QA Fundamentals: Solid knowledge of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies.
• Software Experience: Proven working experience in both software development and software quality assurance.
• Agile & Regression: Familiarity with Agile frameworks and experience in regression testing.
• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mindset, and a knack for problem-solving.
• Testing Oversight: Ability to plan, perform, and oversee the inspection and testing of products to ensure quality deliverables.
• Multi-Platform Testing: Must-have experience testing on diverse platforms, including PC, Mobile, and AR/VR.
• Game/3D Testing (Preferred): Experience specifically in testing games or 3D projects is a significant advantage.
• Automation (Advantage): Experience in test automation using Java or Python, along with knowledge of MongoDB and framework design, will be considered a plus.
