Job Description



The Finance team’s goal is to be a trusted and collaborative partner to all the businesses and functional teams that we work with, bringing business acumen, financial expertise and insights to aid decision-making and deliver value to our stakeholders. Let’s talk about the team:



The primary role of Financial Planning & Analysis function is to analyzes financial data (both historical and forward looking) for strategic and operational decision making. Key deliverables include formulating forecasts, profit and loss accounts, financial models and performing variance analysis. Assist in driving company's performance through commercial assessment of tactical and strategic sales and marketing pricing. Developing a detailed commercial understanding of customer business models, financial performance and competition.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities:



  • Organizes financial information and analyzes variances to determine present and modulate future financial performance.




  • Systematically identifies sales and marketing trends and recommends improvements accordingly.




  • Support developing robust financial assessments for new business, potential M&A analysis, channel and market development investment opportunities including data monetization models.




  • Establishes and maintains databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.




  • Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.




  • Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans and operating forecasts.




  • Automate regular reports using Excel VBA macros and/or leveraging new technologies and tools




  • Actively participate in global process improvement programs and projects




  • Provide ad hoc financial planning and analysis as needed for sales and marketing.




Let’s talk about you:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics or Engineering/Computer Sc. degree.

  • MBA from a reputable school is essential/ or Advanced studies (CA/ CPA/ CFA).

  • 5 years of relevant experience in supporting global organization; FP&A, Management reporting, financial modelling.

  • A self-starter able to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and data mining skills. Able to generate business insights through financial analysis.

  • Ability to manage complex data from multiple systems while still keeping sharp attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast changing business environment.

  • Experience creating high quality reports and presentations for the management reviews.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Able to establish excellent work relationships and rapport with diverse teams located in different geographies and time zones.

  • Proven ability to take initiative and be proactive. Must have desire to learn and to grow.



SOFTWARE SKILLS


  • Advanced Excel skills including VBA. Must have an aptitude to learn quickly efficiency improvement tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot, Thinkcell etc. Having a digital transformation mind-set is essential.

  • Familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan, TM1, Cognos, Oracle or similar ERP is a plus.
