Job Description

The job involves designing and implementing advanced solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) at Fractal, a fast-growing team that leverages AI and behavioural sciences to help clients make better decisions. As a part of the team, you will be expected to demonstrate self-driven initiative by taking ownership and creating end-to-end solutions. Staying informed about the latest developments in generative AI and LLMs, conducting research, and developing code libraries, tools, and frameworks to support generative AI development are key responsibilities.

You will also participate in code reviews, maintain high code quality standards, and engage in the entire software development lifecycle. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align messaging, contribute to roadmaps, and integrate software into different repositories for core system compatibility is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.
Primary skills include hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) covering various aspects such as use case classification, topic modeling, Q&A and chatbots, search, Document AI, summarization, and content generation. Proficiency in Computer Vision and Audio, as well as Generative AI with SaaS LLMs and familiarity with Open-source LLMs, cloud platforms, and application development are also important.

The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in Machine Learning (ML) & Deep Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Data Engineering, Search and Retrieval Systems, Prompt Engineering, Programming & Libraries, Database Management, APIs & Integration, and Evaluation & Benchmarking. Expertise in tools and techniques such as Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Git, cloud platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and evaluation metrics for generative models is required.
