Job Description
- As a Waiter at our Pure Vegetarian Indian Restaurant, your role involves providing courteous and efficient service to ensure a pleasant dining experience rooted in traditional Indian hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers politely and assist with menu selection, explaining dishes and making recommendations, especially regional Indian vegetarian dishes.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, promptly relaying them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring proper table setup and cleanliness before and after service.
- Refill water and attend to guest needs throughout the meal, clearing used dishes efficiently without disrupting guests.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations, following strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Address guest concerns with a positive attitude, escalating to the captain if necessary, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience as a waiter in an Indian restaurant preferred (minimum 1-2 years).
- Good knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine, including North & South Indian dishes.
- Basic communication skills in English and Hindi (or local language).
- Pleasant personality, customer-focused attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Physically fit to stand and walk for long hours, with the ability to work under pressure during busy shifts.

Additional Company Details:
Our work schedule includes rotational shifts, which may involve weekends and public holidays, covering lunch and dinner shifts based on restaurant hours.
