Zoho Developer

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Zoho Developer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications across the Zoho One suite, with a strong focus on Deluge scripting, Zoho Creator, integrations, workflow automation, and custom application development.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring an individual who can work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high-quality applications that improve efficiency across multiple departments including Operations, Finance, HR, Compliance, Sales, and Management.

Responsibilities & Competencies

Zoho Development & Customisation

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications within the Zoho One ecosystem.
  
• Write, test, and optimise complex Deluge scripts and business logic.
  
• Design and build custom applications using Zoho Creator.
  
• Develop custom workflows, blueprints, approvals, and automation processes.
  
• Configure and customise Zoho applications to meet business requirements.
  
• Manage user permissions, security settings, and application configurations.
  

Integrations & APIs

• Develop integrations between Zoho applications and third-party systems.
  
• Utilise REST APIs, webhooks, and custom connectors.
  
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing integrations.
  
• Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical user stories.
  
• 
  Recommend best practices and scalable solutions within the Zoho ecosystem.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  
• Produce technical documentation and user guides.
  

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide second and third-line support for Zoho applications.
  
• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve defects promptly.
  
• Conduct testing and quality assurance before deployment.
  
• Stay up to date with new Zoho features and product releases.
  

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years experience developing and supporting Zoho applications.
  
• Expert-level knowledge of Deluge scripting.
  
• Extensive experience with Zoho Creator application development.
  
• Strong understanding of the Zoho One platform and its various applications.
  
• Experience building integrations using APIs, webhooks, and third-party platforms.
  
• Strong SQL and data management knowledge.
  
• Experience designing business process automations and workflows.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Demonstrable experience leading Agile software delivery, including ownership of backlog management, user story development, sprint planning, work item prioritisation and estimation.
  
• Able to work closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to drive value-focused outcomes.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Zoho Certified Developer qualifications.
  
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide Zoho One solutions.
  
• Experience within financial services, brokerage, trading, shipping, commodities, or professional services environments.
  
• Knowledge of reporting and dashboard creation within Zoho Analytics.
  
• Experience with custom portals and customer-facing applications.
