An interiors site supervisor is a professional, responsible for overseeing and managing interiors execution or renovation of residential/ commercial projects related to bespoke interiors. Their role is critical in ensuring that the project is completed successfully, on time, and within budget while meeting the required quality checks and safety standards. They should also be able to manage their roaster of time to plan and proactively communicate in a sound manner.
*ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Here are some key responsibilities and duties of an interiors site supervisor:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to understand the projects objectives, requirements, and specifications.
- Site Preparation: Coordinate site preparation activities, such as measurements, clearing, demolition, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment for the construction team.
- Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that work is completed on time and that deadlines are met.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors, making sure it meets the projects design and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standards on the construction site to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of workers and visitors.
- Budget Management: Keep track of project expenses, control costs, and report any budgetary concerns to the project manager or client.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve issues promptly.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address any construction-related issues or challenges that may arise during the project, finding practical solutions to keep the work on track.

- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance and quality control measures to ensure the final outcome aligns with the projects specifications and standards.
- Punch List and Closeout: Create and manage a punch list of remaining tasks and ensure that all project elements are completed before final project handover.
- Pre & Post-Handover Evaluation:Evaluate the projects success and gather feedback from the client and team to identify areas for improvement.
