Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements
• Conduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using at least one programming language
• Implement automated testing with tools like Cypress and Selenium
• Manage and track defects using platforms such as TestRail, BrowserStack, and JIRA
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman or Insomnia

• Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins
• Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage test scripts and related artifacts
• Apply knowledge of database fundamentals to perform simple SQL or NoSQL queries (a plus)
• Contribute to performance testing efforts using tools such as Apache JMeter (a plus)
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively within an agile environment
• Communicate test results, issues, and concerns clearly and effectively to stakeholders
• Conduct regular regression testing and sanity tests across multiple platforms and environments
  

Requirements

• 3+ years in software testing (manual)

  Get Hired
  Automated testing is a plus
• Experience with Cypress
• Test case design, execution, and defect tracking (JIRA, TestRail)
• CI/CD integration with Jenkins, version control (Git)
• Basic SQL/NoSQL knowledge (preferred)
• Performance testing exposure (JMeter is a plus)
• Agile/Scrum experience with strong communication skills
