Role: RPA Solution Architect (UiPath)

Location: Alpharetta, GA (On-Site)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Experience: 10 + years overall IT experience, with strong RPA/UiPath experience

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced RPA Solution Architect with strong expertise in UiPath and enterprise automation to design, architect, and deliver scalable automation solutions.
• The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, developers, infrastructure, security, and application teams to translate business requirements into robust automation architectures.
• The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of UiPath, enterprise integrations, APIs, databases, security, cloud migration, and intelligent automation.
• This is an architecture-focused role, requiring the candidate to provide technical leadership across the automation lifecycle rather than focusing solely on UiPath development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of enterprise RPA solutions using UiPath.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable automation architectures.
• Create Solution Design Documents (SDDs), technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidelines.
• Define UiPath development standards, frameworks, reusable components, and best practices.
• 
  Design integrations between UiPath and enterprise ERP, CRM, databases, web applications, and other systems of record.
• Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and API Management (APIM).
• Establish secure credential and secret-management approaches using Azure Key Vault, CyberArk, or similar technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to RPA developers throughout development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design solutions for scalability, reliability, monitoring, logging, exception handling, and operational support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex architectural and production issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams on UiPath Cloud and on-premises environments.
• Support and lead migration of UiPath solutions from on-premises to UiPath Cloud.
• Evaluate and incorporate UiPath AI/ML and Agentic Automation capabilities where appropriate.
• Ensure automation solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, performance, and governance requirements.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in architecture reviews.
• Communicate technical architecture and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong enterprise experience with UiPath and RPA platforms.
• Proven experience designing RPA solution architectures.
• Strong understanding of UiPath architecture, workflows, Orchestrator, automation frameworks, and deployment models.
• Experience with REST APIs, API integration, and API Management (APIM).
• Experience integrating RPA solutions with ERP, CRM, databases, and other enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault (AKV), CyberArk, or equivalent credential-management technologies.
• Strong understanding of automation security, authentication, access control, and credential management.
• Experience with automation monitoring, logging, alerting, exception handling, and production support.
• Knowledge of cloud-based automation architecture, particularly UiPath Cloud.
• Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, .NET, VBScript, or C/C++.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration and workflow architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

• UiPath Certified Solution Architect certification.
• UiPath Certified RPA Developer certification.
• Experience migrating UiPath on-premises solutions to UiPath Cloud.
• Experience with UiPath AI/ML capabilities.
• Experience with UiPath Agentic Automation.
• Knowledge of intelligent automation and emerging AI-driven automation technologies.
• Experience establishing RPA governance, standards, reusable frameworks, and Center of Excellence practices.
