FCC Data Analyst

Responsible for generating reports, provide and communicate insights to various departments (including Risk, Sales, Accounting, Compliance, Dealing and Operations) with primary focus on anti-money laundering monitoring algorithms, on-boarding solutions, and compliance transaction reporting. The Data Analyst will also develop and implement database and data collection processes, design and deploy reports, dashboards and analytical systems.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Extract data from multiple sources, maintain and build databases and processes that are utilized for data analysis and reporting
• Active involvement in automation of reports and analytical processes
• Implementation of monitoring practices over transaction reporting
• Understanding various regulatory reporting regimes
• Correspond with Legal, Compliance, IT, Financial Analysis and Operations staff members in order to address new or updated regulatory requirements
• Gathering requirements and specifications for updates to regulatory reporting systems

• Continuously improving the transaction reporting process from an efficiency and effectiveness standpoint, including automation of manual processes
• Design, prepare and distribute periodic analytics reports
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience Job Holder should have:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics
• Proven experience using Python
• Writing SQL queries to store, sort and retrieve data
• Experience in designing and managing SQL databases

• Proven experience in conducting research and implementing solutions
• Familiarity with core statistical techniques such as significance testing, correlation, regression, distributions and visualization
• University degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Engineering/Quantitative Finance or related

Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
