Senior Manager

FyneHand is mandated to hire for the role of Sr. Manager / Manager - International Business Development to be based in Mumbai.

Our client is a leading specialist in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and a manufacturer of complex molecules and polysaccharides. They are a part of the 50+ year-old V-Group, currently exporting to 70 countries worldwide. The company has received global FDA accreditations from several countries, including the USFDA, EDQM, and the FDA of Russia, China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, the UK, Australia, and Canada

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote API products to LATAM markets
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, including pharmaceutical companies and regulatory authorities
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports on market trends, sales forecasts, and marketing outcomes on current products and future pipeline
• Act as the first point of contact for the company in the LATAM market
• Generate business by maintaining good relations with current distributors and appointing new distributors to increase business and sales
• Support existing distributors in commercialization, marketing, promotion, and registrations

Key competencies:

• Leverage US FDA and EDQM approvals to build strategies and relationships with generic companies
• Proven marketing experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong understanding of regulatory markets and compliance standards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience handling the LATAM market is essential
• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales/business development in international markets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

  MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or M-Pharm
• Undertake 6 trips per year, each lasting a minimum of 2-3 weeks
• Visit a total of 8 countries annually
• Generate and expand regulatory business
