Job Description
- As a Team Leader in Software Development, you will be responsible for planning and executing daily standup calls with your team on a regular basis. Your role will include ensuring adherence to code standards, reviewing the code of your team members, and working closely with the Project Manager to understand project requirements thoroughly. You will be accountable for the applications developed by the Dev teams, providing assistance and support whenever necessary. Comfortable delegation of tasks to appropriate resources is an essential aspect of this role.
In addition to overseeing performance evaluations of team members, you will actively participate in the hiring process of new developers. You should be capable of presenting technical information to various audiences, including non-technical individuals. Leading a team on significant projects, providing technical guidance, and mentoring are key responsibilities. Monitoring team velocity, providing management with relevant metrics, and evaluating technical risks within project scopes will be part of your duties.
Collaboration with the Training department to communicate changes to internal and external users is crucial. Ensuring timely delivery of projects, meeting requirements, and maintaining high-quality standards are paramount. Additionally, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager and upper management, showcasing industry leadership in technology, consortium, or standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Team Leader in Software Development
- Expertise in ASP.NET framework, SQL Server (including DB design and implementation), design/architectural patterns, Model-View-Controller (MVC), Web API 2.0, LINQ, and Entity Framework
- Experience with Forex applications/domain is preferred
- Proficiency in direct communication with clients
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) development
- Ability to write quality unit tests

- Experience with AGILE software development
- Knowledge of repeatable automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying applications at scale
- Experience in web and backend design and development
- Familiarity with UI frameworks and libraries like jQuery
