Assistant / Deputy Manager - Marketing (Tool Room, Plastic & Die)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across Tool Room, Plastic Injection Moulding, and Aluminium Die Casting divisions.
• Handle RFQ management from receipt to quotation submission, coordinating with Design, PPC, Tool Room, and Production teams for feasibility and costing.
• Prepare and review techno-commercial proposals, cost sheets, and part quotations.
• Conduct customer visits, understand requirements, and convert enquiries into business.
• Coordinate
  
  sample development, tool trials, and PPAP activities with internal teams and customers.
• Manage existing customers ensuring satisfaction, timely communication, and repeat business.
• Support management in pricing strategy, customer negotiations, and business planning.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and new technology developments related to tooling and moulding.
• Maintain all customer communication records, costing history, and quotation databases as per system standards (ISO/AS9100).
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between Marketing, Design, Tool Room, Production, and Quality departments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong technical understanding of Tool Design, Injection Moulds, and Die Casting Tools.
• Knowledge of mould manufacturing, part costing, cycle time estimation, and raw material selection.
• Experience in plastic and aluminium component costing, quotation preparation, and price negotiation.
• Excellent customer handling, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Strategic, analytical, and proactive business development mindset.
