Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Client Retention Manager - Employee Benefits (EB) with 5 to 9 years of experience in General Insurance or Insurance Broking. In this role, you'll be key to ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and fostering long-term client relationships within our corporate accounts. You'll actively engage with clients, identify their evolving needs, and leverage your knowledge of employee health and general insurance products to drive loyalty through strategic upselling and cross-selling.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery Strategy & Satisfaction: Implement our delivery strategy to ensure high customer satisfaction, foster client dependence on our services, and encourage continued service patronage.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with key corporate customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Client Needs Assessment: Proactively communicate with clients to identify their specific requirements and make necessary adjustments to service delivery to meet those needs effectively.
- Customer Engagement & Support: Utilize various communication mediums to engage with customers, providing quick assistance and efficient resolution to their queries or concerns.
- Product Updates: Keep customers consistently updated on the latest product and service offerings relevant to their employee benefits and general insurance needs.
- Growth & Expansion: Actively expand the customer base by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Deliverable Assurance: Ensure all agreed-upon deliverables for clients are met in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with relevant internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, sales, product teams) to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve complete customer satisfaction.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interaction and internal collaboration.
- Listening & Needs Assessment: Possess strong listening skills and the ability to efficiently determine clients' underlying needs.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for presentations, data analysis, and documentation.
- Product Knowledge: Should have good technical knowledge about Employee Health Insurance and/or General Insurance products.
Industry Experience: Minimum 5 to 9 years of experience in the General Insurance sector or with Insurance Brokers.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related field.
Certifications: Any Insurance Qualification is preferred.
