Job Description
Job Purpose:
Domestic Sales in the packaging films business, the role involves leading and executing sales strategies across the domestic market. This includes managing key customer accounts, optimizing pricing strategies, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth for the Flexible packaging films business. The saleshead leads the national sales team, oversees distributor networks, and ensures alignment with production and supply chain teams.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategy for packaging films across key Domestic markets
- Achieve revenue and profitability targets in line with business goals.
- Lead and manage a team of regional sales managers, key account managers, and support staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with converters, FMCG companies, contract & tender and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to adapt sales strategies.
- Drive product positioning and pricing in collaboration with marketing , R&D and product development teams.
- Ensure timely execution of orders, deliveries, and collections.
- Work closely with production planning, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure high service levels.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and with strategic partners.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing export sales team.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence to top management.
Experience & Educational Requirements:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Trade, or Engineering (Polymer/Chemical/ Plastic preferred), Plastic Specific Experience in key position long term
- MBA is an added advantage.

Qualification RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:)
- 15+ years of experience in export sales, preferably in packaging films or the related flexible packaging industry, or any plastics industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or national sales role
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
