Job Description
As a Lead Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our market forecasting and strategic planning efforts across various regions and headquarters. You will manage key stakeholders, deliver insightful training, and support CMOs in budget and planning processes. Your expertise in data analytics, particularly with tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SFDC, will be crucial in performing win-loss analyses, developing MOR packages, and presenting findings to senior leadership. This role demands a proactive and collaborative individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and drive business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead quarterly market forecasts across regions and headquarters.
- Manage stakeholders and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Deliver training on dashboards to stakeholders as needed.
- Assist Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) in the budget and planning process (WWPP, Budget, etc.).
- Utilize analytical tools such as Tableau, Oracle Analytics System (OAS), and Salesforce (SFDC); knowledge of these tools is a plus.
- Demonstrate proactiveness and a go-getter attitude to identify problems and propose solutions.
- Lead interlocks with regional General Managers (GMs) and CMOs to capture qualitative insights.
- Provide executive support to CMOs during Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR).
- Develop MOR packages and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with marketing terminologies such as orders, revenue, OPI, SPI, and funnel management.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on competitive share, win rate, visibility, and share metrics.
- Present findings to senior leadership, including CMOs and other senior leaders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with CMOs and GMs of various segments and sub-segments.
- Expertise in Power BI and automation is highly desirable.
- Identify opportunities to enhance collaboration, save time, reduce costs, and eliminate redundant steps.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is an added advantage.
- 7+ years of experience in banking, commercial, finance, or marketing domains.
- Previous experience as a Power BI developer or in business analytics is beneficial.
- Experience in a matrixed organization is a plus.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of Python/SQL for scripting and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
