We are now expanding our team and looking for a Senior Gemologist who brings strong gemstone expertise and commercial insight.
What Youll Do
As our Gemologist Expert, you will:
Evaluate and grade gemstones with scientific precision
Create detailed gem reports (certification-ready)
Build and maintain buying standards & quality control
Train sales & ecom teams on gem properties & value communication
Write gemstone content educational + persuasive
Support product categorization & pricing strategy
Help resolve customer gemstone queries with authority
Must-Have Skills & Experience
? 38+ years working with gemstones (grading, evaluation, sourcing, sales)
? Strong knowledge of minerals, clarity, color, cut, treatments & valuation
? Experience with gem lab tools (refractometer, loupe, spectroscope, etc.)
? Excellent written & verbal communication
? E-commerce or retail gemstone experience preferred
? Ability to craft educational content as well as concise product narratives

? GIA / IGI / FGA certification
? Experience with e-commerce catalogs & SEO-driven content
