Job Description


The Application Manager ensures effective management, governance, and optimization of all organization IT applications. This role will oversee the entire lifecycle of digital platforms (Intranet, DMS, ERP, Business Digital Platforms, etc.).
The Application Manager will collaborate closely with the Project Managers to align Digital Application initiatives with organizational goals and user needs.
Additionally, the Application Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying potential digital platforms that can cover the different needs of the business, defining the solutions TCO, defining/reviewing/supporting the applications functional and technical requirements, overseeing the platform quality process, managing the development of the required integrations with other systems, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), developing comprehensive training programs, and optimizing costs through efficient application lifecycle management practices.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the governance and maintenance of all IT applications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and optimization of digital platforms ( digital platforms (Intranet, DMS, ERP, Business Digital Platforms, etc.) from the technical point of view and in collaboration with the Project Manager or End-users.
  • Define and/or review detailed functional requirements, platform architectures, technical designs, software development processes, and software quality testing to ensure the applications meet user needs, technical requirements, and business objectives.
  • Oversee the system and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes to validate application functionality and usability, working closely with the Project Manager and end-users.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training actions (webinars, user manuals, etc.) on the application usage to ensure its value delivery.
  • Oversee the release management process for all organization IT applications.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to optimize application costs through strategic planning, vendor management, and compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT, vendors, and business units to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and drive alignment of application strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing technical issues and ensuring optimal performance of IT applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement of application lifecycle management processes and practices, incorporating stakeholder feedback and lessons from previous projects.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and gambling/gaming regulatory industry trends related to IT applications, leveraging knowledge to drive innovation and enhance organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in application project and lifecycle management, functional and technical requirement specification, system testing, UAT and application training, change management, and support.
  • Experience in implementing Compliance and Gambling/Gaming systems is preferable.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion, Nextgen-architecture applications, Microsoft 365 Apps, SharePoint, Document Management Systems, etc.

    Strong understanding of application lifecycle management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
