Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as an operational partner to business leaders and employees, ensuring that HR initiatives, policies, and practices are aligned with organizational objectives.
The role provides end-to-end HR support across employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, HR administration, and payroll coordination. The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor to management and employees, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnership & Advisory:
- Partner with Chiefs and Division Heads to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable HR initiatives.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support workforce planning and manpower tracking in alignment with approved structures.
- Contribute to HR projects and organizational initiatives as assigned by HR leadership.
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to facilitate background verification and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end onboarding processes to ensure smooth employee integration.
- Liaise with PRO to complete visa, residency, and related formalities for employees and eligible dependents.
- Manage employee exits including resignation processing, termination documentation, clearance procedures, and exit interviews.
- Ensure timely updating of HR systems and employee records.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries and concerns.
- Address employee relations matters and support investigations where required.
- Provide conflict resolution support and guidance to managers.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives to strengthen workplace culture.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.
- HR Compliance & Governance:
- Monitor and adapt to changes in employment laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and update of HR policies and procedures in line with statutory and organizational standards.
- Standardize HR templates, employee letters, and documentation processes.
- Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and employee files.
- HR Administration & Operations:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS and personnel files.
- Support benefits administration, including enrolment, documentation review, and query resolution.
- Prepare HR-related communication, announcements, and official letters.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics as required by HR leadership.
- Support data integrity and HR system accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business administration or a relevant field.

- Master's degree and relevant HR certifications are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience within Human Resources with exposure to multiple functions.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and industry trends.
- Proficiency in MS office and HRIS software.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
