Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Practice SME-Agentic AI!
In this role, you%27ll be part of Genpact%27s transformation under GenpactNext, as we lead the shift to Agentic AI Solutions&mdashdomain-specific, autonomous systems that redefine how we deliver value to clients. You%27ll help drive the adoption of innovations like the Genpact AP Suite in finance and accounting, with more Agentic AI products set to expand across service lines.
The SME role will require making strategies and sales presentations to potential business heads.
Subject Matter Expert will lead blueprints for new business awarded to Genpact and provide consultancy services for Finance Shared Service Centers setup.Subject Matter Expert is responsible for driving thought leadership around best-in-class processes and best practice sharing. He has to lead the designing of effective End to End process framework for our new and existing customers in line with Genpact cornerstones and actively support operations to get best in class performance.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead complex finance & accounting blueprints with many countries/ regions in scope
Lead RFX submissions for new Customers
Provide sound business rationale for improving the business case for non-qualified opportunities as a result of due diligence expertise
Lead business meetings with potential new clients for Genpact as part of Sales cycle. Pitch on proposed solutions to client executives, highlighting Genpact capabilities and benefits of centralization, convince leadership in selecting Genpact as primary service provider
As an architect of finance & accounting solutions, once Genpact has been down selected, lead work through due diligence to implement the plan and support transition
Refine Accounts Payable (AP) process data repository as part of Knowledge Management framework: industry specific nuances, best practices, case studies creation and release, benchmarking
Focus on managing the project engagement specifically balancing organization profit and long term client opportunity
Review solutioning projects delivered by Practice/Re-engineering/ Operations SMEs
Develop Genpact product offering in line with the industry changes - Optimum solution offering & digital offerings to support the solution design
Work closely with Global counterparts from all Genpact regions, to attain standardization & improvement in the product offering
Leads Digital SEP projects implementation
Keep current on IFRS, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and other industry specific policies and regulations.
Perform regular evaluations of team members performance, identify training requirements.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Building strategic relationship skills experience with peers from operations and with operating leaders to facilitate goals and objectives
Is open to extensive travelling.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Minimum years of experience in a relevant field and relevant companies (preferably BPO/SSC environment), out of which solid experience in people & project management
Strong project and people management experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
University graduate (relevant studies)
Professional qualification and/or experience in technical accounting sphere represents an advantage
OTHERS
Organized person with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different tasks

About Company
Genpact was founded in 1997 as a unit of General Electric. The company was founded as GE Capital International Services (GECIS) in New Delhi. Starting with 20 employees under the leadership of CEO Pramod Bhasin, its charter was to provide business process outsourcing solutions to GE's businesses. In the beginning, GECIS created processes for outsourcing back-office activities for GE Capital such as processing car loans and credit card transactions. It was an experimental concept at the time and the beginning of the Business-Process-Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
One year after its launch, GECIS employed about 800 people and generated revenues of US$4 million. By 2001, GECIS operations had grown to 12,000 employees and the company began to manage a wide range of processes across GE's financial services and manufacturing businesses. Jack Welsh, CEO of GE at the time, said that GECIS was a key driver of GE’s growth between 1998 and 2001, and was responsible for reducing operating costs by approximately US$1 billion.
In 2003, GE reduced its stake in GECIS to 40% and sold the remainder to two American private equity firms. At the time of the sale, GECIS employed around 13,000 people in India and 4,000 people in the US, China, Hungary and Mexico, providing a range of solutions in areas such as finance and accounting, insurance claim processing, IT management and technical support.
By 2004, GECIS oversaw around 700 business processes for GE that had migrated from the US to India, generating revenues of US$426 million.
