Job Description
- GLG is seeking a candidate for an Analyst role based in Gurugram, India. As an Analyst at GLG, you will be part of the 70-person global compliance department, providing timely and thoughtful support for global client service professionals. Your role will involve developing strong actionable business skills, such as time management, critical thinking, prioritization, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, dispute management, and project management.
In addition to honing essential problem-solving, time management, risk assessment, and interpersonal skills, you will contribute to broader compliance initiatives by analyzing complex data, regulations, and situations to identify potential risks and develop effective risk mitigation strategies. You will also be enhancing your communication skills in this role.

As an Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Learning and implementing our compliance policies to safeguard the integrity of client engagements.
- Conducting internet-based searches.
- Reviewing and evaluating the completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of individual or entity profiles.
- Identifying correct/incorrect business practices and escalating compliance breaches.
- Understanding and enforcing key legal and compliance rules and policies.
- Managing tasks and activities with complete ownership and timeliness.
- Collaborating with client service professionals daily to meet client service objectives.
- Partnering with different business units to navigate complex situations.
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- A graduate/postgraduate degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience in Compliance, Due Diligence, or Risk Management.
- Mandatory fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Desirable skills in Japanese and/or Korean languages.
- Excellent internet-based research skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
