Job Description
- In this role as an Events Associate at GLG, you will be responsible for leveraging the GLG Network Members to organize and execute small and mid-size group meetings, roundtables, seminars, and virtual events. Your primary focus will be on developing and programming meetings that connect industry experts with business and investment leaders in Asia Pacific, particularly in Australia.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating content for multiple projects by ideating event topics and crafting event materials in collaboration with the client-facing business unit.
- Sourcing and liaising with event speakers within GLG's network of experts.
- Hosting and moderating small group events and panel discussions.
As a successful candidate for this position, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree from a top-tier college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in event content programming.
- Deep understanding of the Indian Financial Services audience, including private equity.
- Customer service experience and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other technology tools.
