Job Description
- You are a Senior Node.js Cloud Developer joining Improving South America, a global project focusing on financial management software development in collaboration with a client present in Canada, USA, Europe, and Asia. Your role involves backend development using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability. You will be responsible for implementing Serverless and Event-Driven architectures, managing serverless functions and services using Serverless Framework, integrating AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions, and working on infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK. Your experience in AWS environments, specifically with Node.js and TypeScript, is crucial. Collaboration with international team members on key technical decisions is a significant aspect of this role.
To excel in this position, you must have over 10 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to Node.js. Proficiency in TypeScript and a deep understanding of Serverless development and Event-Driven architecture are essential. Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions, along with knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK, is required. Demonstrable expertise in AWS environments is prioritized, and an intermediate/advanced level of English proficiency is mandatory. Possessing an AWS certification is considered a bonus. Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, organizational prowess, and time management skills are highly valued.
