GetVantage - Credit Analyst - Mid Market Segment - CA

We seek a highly driven and analytically strong Credit Analyst to join our Mid-Market Team at GetVantage. This role evaluates new-age, fast-growing companies and structures credit solutions that align with our venture debt and revenue-based financing models.
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably within venture debt, SME lending, fintech, NBFCs, or similar alternate lending platforms. You will be instrumental in credit evaluation, due diligence, and structuring deals that support the growth journeys of modern businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the preliminary screening of fresh applications and conduct in-depth financial analysis and background verification as per GetVantage policies and TAT guidelines.
- Lead data collection from clients at multiple stages of the credit process to ensure a seamless flow of information.
- Conduct detailed due diligence in collaboration with the Deal Manager, covering financial, business, and industry-specific assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals with financial, business model, and risk analysis to be presented to the Management for decision-making.

- Collaborate closely with the Deal Manager on structuring deals and fine-tuning proposals.
- Regularly perform industry, sector, and competitive benchmarking analysis to assess market dynamics, success factors, and potential risks.
- Work on short-term projects or process improvements to enhance efficiency and execution quality within the credit and underwriting function.
Key Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or finance professional with 2+ years of relevant credit underwriting experience. Prior exposure to venture debt, fintech lending, SME funding, or alternative credit platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and credit risk evaluation.
- Familiarity with new-age business models including SaaS, D2C, digital platforms, and tech-driven companies.
- Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable handling large financial datasets.
- Ability to conduct both primary and secondary market research to assess industry trends and success drivers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
- A disciplined, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset with strong independent judgment on credit matters.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage deadlines without extensive supervision.
