Sr Manager, Product Management

Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong expertise in Product Management craft and experience designing and delivering GUI/UI products in the networking space to help drive our business. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Product Management, youll work with a strong R&D team to deliver a world class experience. Youll have strong bones in the foundational bits of Product Management, including understanding customer problems and use cases inside and out, writing concise and crisp requirements, and influencing engineering teams to deliver value added functionality and products for our customers.
What Youll Do

• Build strategy and roadmap for our configuration experience within our product, Fabric Manager, to delight and impress our customer base.
• Build and demonstrate a strong sense of customer intimacy, working backwards from customer problems and translating to well-understood use cases.
• Write concise and complete requirements, working cross functionality with stakeholders for feedback and aligning with engineering team(s) to ensure the asks are understood.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of market trends and where the competition is both at and heading.
• 
  Drive vision, strategy, and roadmap across both internal stakeholders and interested parties, as well as externally with customers and channel partners.
• Help drive the release planning process from planning to release delivery.
• Be an evangelist for Gigamon business, and the larger Gigamon value prop.
• Work and coordinate within a strong and large team spread across the globe, with focus points in California and India.
  

What We Look For

• 15+ years of experience in product management, building GUI/UI enterprise products in the networking space is required.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Figma, and Asana

  Get Hired
  Preference given to candidates with a demonstrable portfolio (links to past work, youtube videos of past work, etc)
• Well rounded PLM experience, from launch to iteration to product End of Sale/Life/ Support.
• BS degree in a related field, MBA strongly preferred.
• Well-rounded Product Management skills, from working with customers to understand pain points, translating these into well-written requirements, and articulating the needs both at a technical and business level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and ability to work cross-functionally, with Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Technical Marketing/Product Marketing with a global team in multiple time zones.
