We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Evaluation:

• Collect, process, and evaluate large data sets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Use data-driven recommendations to solve problems and improve processes.
  

Analytics development:

• Implement analytics tools and programming languages to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Design and leverage visualization software for reporting.
  

Problem Solving & Leadership:

• Solve complex challenges with minimal supervision while mentoring junior team members.

• Take ownership of data normalization and processing for both new and existing product information.
  

Reporting & Process Improvement:

• Drive report generation aligned with departmental goals and share insights to foster improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on SKU/content enrichment, data collection, and automation.
  

Content Management:

• Perform data analysis, editing, and normalization to ensure consistent and accurate product information.
• Streamline and enhance processes for efficient data ingestion and supplier collaboration.
  

Collaboration & Automation Focus:

• Partner with Product Data, Digital Merchandising, and external stakeholders to enhance automation and enrichment efforts.
• Continuously improve processes for faster delivery and accuracy of supplier data.
  

Website Accuracy

• Regularly audit the website for missing or incorrect product information, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  

Process Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement of product data processes and ensure the overall quality and compliance of all product data
  

Competencies And Skills

• Bachelors Degree Preferred
  

3-5 years of work experience working with large sets of data and product information from suppliers, third parties and external data sources
Resourceful, eager to learn, keen attention to details and deadlines
Proficient computer skills and coding experience with Sql, Python, PowerBI
