About the job:
Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities:
- Serves as a liaison between Information Technology and business units to identify and address business needs and resolve complex system problems.
- Documents functional specifications in detail and provides direction to technical staff in development.
- Provides project leadership for the development and support of new and existing applications.
- Possesses and maintains an up-to-date understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills throughout interaction with all levels of the organization.
- Provide support for user problem resolution.
- Strong knowledge in Infor platforms with experience as Infor LN Business Analyst in functional modules of Warehousing, Manufacturing, Projects, Quality & Distribution.
- Understands business process and technical programming to support Infor ERP LN.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned:
- Identify gaps / improvements in Business Processes areas of Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Projects & Quality packages.
- Experience of integrations with PLM, CRM, MES, Data warehouses and Time & Attendance is highly desired.
- Implementing concepts of Business Intelligence & KPI reporting, is an asset

Work with users and the department manager to:
- Analyze business processes, identify and propose new business processes or program changes to address specific requirements.
- Create appropriate specification documents including time and cost estimates.
- Identify, analyze, design and develop program changes consistent with division and Corporate standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve errors or problems with existing programs.
- Identify, resolve or improve on systems performance.
- Specify reporting requirements.
- Specify form requirements.
- Develops detailed functional specifications for hand-off to technical staff (Offshore and Onshore)
- Develop supporting flowcharts, tables, diagrams, formulas and methods for solving business problems, incorporating infrastructure requirements and interfaces
- Research alternative business solutions and, where appropriate, document cost, recommend, present and justify such alternatives.
- Provides configuration development and support for Infor LN ERP applications; some WEB based applications as required
- Prepare and update necessary documentation and assist in developing and maintaining system documentation.
- Provide technical expertise to the users in solving day-to-day issues.
- Provide training to the users, when appropriate.
- Ensures all specifications and related activities comply with the global Harsco compliance standards and procedures.
- Contributes budget input for assigned areas as requested.
- Creates and maintains detailed project plans and work assignments. Achieves specified target dates and adheres to budget.
- Manages vendors and consultants as required. Develops and evaluates vendor proposals as required.
- Manages multiple priorities successfully.
- Actively participates in business planning activities.
Basic Qualification:
Education:
- Associate degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science or a closely related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 15 years of Infor ERP LN Business Analyst in Warehousing, Planning, Manufacturing, Projects, Quality & Distribution experience desired.
- Project management certification desired.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of Fifteen years experience in a Infor LN business analyst role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education or Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- 10 years of Infor ERP LN Business Analyst in Warehousing, Planning, Manufacturing, Projects, and Quality & Distribution experience desired.
- Previous Lean or Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience.
