Job Description
- As a React Architect at Globant, you will play a crucial role in defining, designing, and implementing the architecture for complex web applications using React.js and related technologies. You will collaborate with various stakeholders including business, product, UX/UI designers, and developers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. It will be your responsibility to establish coding standards, best practices, and reusable component libraries to ensure consistency across teams. Additionally, you will lead and mentor development teams, providing guidance on the React ecosystem including Redux, Hooks, Context API, and Next.js.
Your role will also involve driving performance optimization, security, accessibility, and responsiveness of web applications. You will evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution architecture while working closely with backend architects to ensure seamless integration of APIs and services. Participation in code reviews, architecture reviews, and solution design discussions will be essential. Furthermore, you will support migration and modernization initiatives for legacy systems to React-based architectures.
To qualify for this position, you should have 10-20 years of overall experience in software development with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on React.js experience. Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling is required. Proficiency in state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Context API, and experience with Next.js or other SSR frameworks are essential. Familiarity with micro-frontends, modular architecture, component-driven design, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, backend integration, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD pipelines is also expected. Exposure to automated testing frameworks, strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, are important requirements.

Nice to have skills include knowledge of design systems such as Material UI, Chakra UI, custom design tokens, familiarity with DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and an understanding of performance monitoring tools like Lighthouse, New Relic, or Datadog.,
