Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to move data from disparate sources to a centralised data repository.
- Monitor data integration jobs and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Optimise data integration processes for performance and scalability
- Contributing to the backend of the product development.
- Maintaining these applications for accuracy and high availability.
- Contributing to and enforcing great coding practices through code reviews.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve system designs, architecture and implementation standards.
- Experience with data integration tools and processes (ETL, ELT, data warehousing, etc. )
- Experience with SQL on at least one major relational database (Postgres, MySQL etc. )
- Experience with tools like Kafka for data integration and data pipelines would be a plus.
- Experience in architecting and building products/business critical backend applications using Node.js, Express.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc. )
- Experience in deploying and maintaining web applications.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language
- Exposure to deployment best practices and auto-scalable infrastructure setup.
- Good communication skills.
