Chartered Accountant

The job description for a Chartered Accountant (CA)

Accounting: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

1.Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement) and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

2.Taxation: Comply with tax laws and regulations, file tax returns, and provide tax advice to the organization.

3.Audit: Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors for audits and reviews.

4.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

5.Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and prepare financial reports for management.

6.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

7.Treasury Management: Manage the organizations cash flows, banking relationships, and investment portfolio.

8.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts department.

9.Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a track record of success in financial leadership.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial management best practices.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
