Job Description
- The Monitoring, Impact & Evaluation Manager at Going to School is a key role that involves utilizing data to effectively communicate the impact and change brought about by the organization's programs. As the Manager, you will be responsible for designing impact measurement frameworks, analyzing data, and creating compelling narratives that showcase the organization's achievements. Your role will encompass field-based monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and content development, making it ideal for individuals who are passionate about data, writing, and social impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Lead M&E Systems: Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), impact tools, and learning frameworks to effectively measure and track impact.
Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct surveys, interviews, and research activities to gather both quantitative and qualitative data, followed by thorough analysis.
Storytelling & Reports: Craft impactful reports, donor communications, blogs, and policy briefs that effectively communicate the organization's impact and achievements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, funders, evaluators, and partners to ensure effective communication and engagement.
Strategic Recommendations: Utilize data insights to drive program learning and fundraising narratives, contributing to continuous improvement and growth.
Who You Are
A skilled writer with a profound understanding of impact frameworks such as Theory of Change (ToC), Logical Frameworks, and Results-Based Management (RBM).
Experienced in sectors like education, health, livelihoods, or climate change, with a strong background in simplifying complex datasets into actionable insights and engaging stories.
