Job Description
- As a Life and Annuity Assistant Manager/Manager located in Chennai/Bangalore, you will be responsible for overseeing L&A Insurance operations for a leading US-based insurer. With over 10 years of experience in managing L&A Insurance operations and 8+ years specifically in US/EU/UK/ANZ Life/Pensions/Annuities/Retirements domain, you will lead a team of 100+ individuals across multiple shores.
Your role will involve managing the delivery of processes throughout the L&A value chain, requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding of products and operations within the insurance industry. You should possess industry-recognized certifications in any of the listed domains and have the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and transformation through Lean, Green belt, or Automation projects.
Furthermore, you will be expected to keep abreast of market and industry trends, deriving meaningful insights and leading major transformation projects to deliver significant benefits. Handling RFPs/Proactive Proposals, developing impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders, and identifying additional business opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities.
Your role will contribute to the L&A COE, requiring flexibility to work in shifts and skills in insurance operations, underwriting, and US insurance. A bachelor's degree is required for this full-time, permanent position in the ITES/BPO/KPO industry.
Overall, as a Life and Annuity Assistant Manager/Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of the L&A insurance operations.
