Job Summary
The Backend Operations Manager will manage end-to-end backend operations for multiple bank/NBFC clients, ensuring accurate MIS, allocation control, reconciliation, compliance adherence, and smooth coordination between clients, field teams and tele-callers.
Key Responsibilities
Client Portfolio Management
Handle backend operations for multiple client portfolios (Banks/NBFCs).
Manage client-wise allocation, recall, and bucket movement.
Share daily/weekly/monthly MIS as per client formats and SLAs.
Allocation Case Control
Upload/download allocations on client LMS and internal systems.
Track PTPs, follow-ups, closures, settlements, and write-offs.
Ensure zero duplication, data leakage, or mis-posting of cases.
MIS Reporting
Prepare Daily Collection MIS, Productivity MIS, Aging, Resolution Roll-back reports.
Monitor performance of tele-callers, field executives, and agencies.
Provide analysis and insights to Operations Head and clients.
Reconciliation Billing Support
Daily reconciliation of cash, UPI, bank transfer, QR collections.
Coordinate with finance team for client billing and incentive payout.
Resolve discrepancies within defined TAT.
Compliance Audit
Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, client SOPs, and collection code of conduct.
Maintain proper documentation for settlements, NOC, and closures.
Support client audits and internal compliance checks.

Lead and supervise backend executives and MIS team.
Set daily deliverables and ensure SLA adherence.
Train team on systems, MIS, and compliance processes.
Process Improvement
Identify gaps and suggest backend process improvements.
Implement controls to prevent fraud, errors, and data manipulation.
Draft and update internal SOPs.
Skills Competencies
Strong experience in third-party loan collection backend operations.
Excellent Excel MIS reporting skills.
Hands-on exposure to client LMS/CRM portals.
Good understanding of RBI client compliance norms.
Ability to handle multiple clients and tight deadlines.
Preferred Background
NBFC / Bank / FinTech / Collection Agency experience.
Exposure to PL, BL, Credit Card, LAP, or other loan products.
