Position Description:Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, India this role is responsible for Internal audits and IFC activities for both of Goodyear India legal entities

Principal Responsibilities:

• 
  Independently conduct all audit planning activities to summarize the planning effort and forward to Head of Internal Audit, India for review and approval. Develop audit program, audit scope, testing methodology, time budget and submit to Head of Internal Audit, India for review and approval. Prepare the audit entrance presentation and deliver the presentation.


• Conduct appropriate audit test for audit areas and ensure that testing is completed as scheduled and documented in compliance with departmental standards


• Constantly monitor progress of the audit and maintain positive relationship with the audit customers to ensure that the audit assistance needed to complete the audit fieldwork in a timely and efficient manner. Keep the Head of Internal Audit, India and/or Regional Audit Director informed in a timely manner of progress and issues identified during the audit.


• Prepare the discussion draft of the audit report and submit the draft to the Head of Internal Audit, India for review comments, approval and distribution to the audit customers. Prepare an exit meeting agenda and presentation. Lead the exit meeting with the audit customers, if required.


• While keeping compliance and controls as key objectives, to work with key process owners to reduce unnecessary workload and delays associated with some of Goodyear India existing procedures.


• Review & Validate IFC Documentation for India (process documentation, risks & control metrics, test plans, testing results, risks and gaps assessments)


• Remediation testing & closure of internal control gaps in India.

Job Requirement :

• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in a large MNC or in a Recognized Consulting Firm in the field of Internal Controls, Internal Audit or other related Finance roles


• Should have hands on experience of working in SOX / IFC Compliance in a Large MNC, preferably Manufacturing Unit.


• Experience in manufacturing operations is a plus.


• Education - Minimum of a Chartered Accountant degree


• An advanced certification on Internal Audit “Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)” or “Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)” would be a plus
