Job Description

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (South Head) - Retail / B2C (Premium Architectural Hardware & Building Materials).
Experience: 12+ Years (Mandatory experience managing all 5 Southern states: KA, TN, Kerala, AP, and TN for at least the last 7 to 9+ Years).
Industry: Architectural Hardware / Building Materials / Consumer Durables.
Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Bangalore.
Employment Type: Full-Time.
Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO).
Working Days: Monday to Saturday.
Compensation: Up to - 45 LPA (CTC).

The organisation is known for combining aesthetics with functionality while maintaining strict quality standards and strong after-sales support.
Job Brief:
- We are looking for a high-energy Regional Sales Manager to drive the retail / B2C sales growth across South India.
- This role will focus on strengthening retail counters, expanding dealer networks, increasing secondary sales, and building strong consumer demand pull.
- You will lead State Heads and Area Sales Managers while ensuring excellent execution at retail outlets, strong brand visibility, and high engagement with architects, carpenters, and end consumers.
- If you understand retail psychology, dealer motivation, in-store execution, and B2C conversion strategies - this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:

Retail Sales & Secondary Growth:
- Drive strong secondary sales growth across retail hardware counters.
- Build and execute region-wise retail sales plans.
- Set clear monthly, quarterly, and annual retail targets.
- Monitor primary vs. secondary sales alignment.


- Improve product mix and ensure premium SKU push.
- Plan retail-focused schemes to increase counter sales and offtake.
- Ensure high sell-through at dealer counters.
- Dealer Network Expansion & Retail Excellence.
- Expand the active retail dealer network in key cities and towns.
- Strengthen relationships with top retail counters.
- Ensure display excellence and brand visibility at retail outlets.
- Identify and replace underperforming dealers.
- Maintain strong credit discipline and collections.
- Ensure proper stock availability to avoid retail stock-outs.
- Consumer & Influencer Engagement (B2C Focus).
- Drive demand generation through:.
- Architect & interior designer meetings.
- Carpenter engagement programs.
- Retail walk-in conversion support.
- Plan retail activations, demos, and product awareness drives.
- Build loyalty programs for carpenters and influencers.
- Support new product launches at the retail level.
- Team Leadership & Retail Execution.
- Lead and mentor State Heads, ASMs, and field sales teams.
- Improve field productivity and outlet coverage.
- Ensure structured retail visit plans.
- Conduct joint field visits to improve counter conversions.
- Train teams on B2C selling techniques and product storytelling.
- Ensure adherence to retail sales SOPs.

- Brand Visibility & Market Development.
- Ensure strong retail merchandising standards.
- Improve in-store branding and premium display placements.
- Monitor competition at retail counters.
- Ensure participation in retail events and exhibitions.
- Build a strong presence in premium residential & commercial retail markets.
Sales Operations & Monitoring:
- Track sales performance via DMS / SFA tools.
- Monitor order booking and retail replenishment cycles.
- Ensure smooth logistics and timely deliveries.
- Review weekly sales reports and market insights.
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and retail activities.
Collections & Inventory Control:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels at distributor and dealer points.
- Ensure healthy stock rotation.
- Drive timely payment collections.
- Monitor working capital and reduce blocked stock.
Qualifications:
- Graduate / MBA in Business Administration or Sales & Marketing.
- 12-15+ years of experience in Retail / B2C Sales.
- Experience handling the South India region preferred.
- Strong experience in dealer-driven retail models.
- Proven track record in secondary sales growth.
- Experience in architectural hardware / building materials / premium consumer durable segments preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
