Summary
The Human Resources Manager leads Human Resources functions for the hotel, ensuring people strategies effectively support business objectives, employee engagement, and operational performance. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance. The HR Manager partners closely with hotel leadership to foster a positive workplace culture, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.
Main Duties:
- Act as a strategic HR business partner, supporting hotel leadership on people, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring professional, confidential, and service-oriented support for all employees and stakeholders.
- Oversee all HR operations and ensure alignment with business objectives, brand standards, and company values.
- Prepare and manage the annual HR budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and standards in line with company requirements and local regulations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, company policies, and all statutory employment requirements.
- Manage recruitment and selection activities, supporting workforce planning and the attraction of top talent.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, coaching, and career growth initiatives.
- Support effective workforce planning, payroll coordination, and HR systems administration to optimize productivity and control costs.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or international hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and HR operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, payroll coordination, HR budgeting, and employee benefits administration.
- Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and HR reporting.
