Job Description
- In this role, you will be part of a team focused on building and scaling core backend systems to support a new generation of intelligent, data-driven products. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to rapidly develop features, tackle complex engineering challenges, and foster innovation in distributed systems and ML infrastructure leveraging modern backend architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and scale core backend systems supporting intelligent data-driven products.
- Work closely with the founding team to design and deliver features efficiently.
- Address complex challenges in distributed systems and machine learning infrastructure.
- Develop cost-effective and scalable solutions using modern backend architectures.
- Collaborate with design, frontend, and data science teams.
- Offer ideas and proof-of-concepts to influence product direction.
- Uphold high standards in system reliability, scalability, and engineering excellence.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of building and shipping reliable systems.
- 3+ years of experience at a single organization where you constructed systems from the ground up and led projects.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, domain modeling, and event-driven/microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Golang, serverless architectures, SQL/NoSQL databases, ElasticSearch, GraphQL, or microservices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a background in mentoring and collaborating with fellow engineers.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills to address ambiguous problems.
