Job Description

The Client is building a premium, quality-first commerce platform focused on curated products, discovery-led shopping, and a differentiated consumer experience. The platform aims to move away from transactional marketplaces toward a storytelling-led, high-quality commerce experience for discerning consumers.
The Product Leader - Storefront will own the entire customer-facing app experience and play a critical role in shaping how users discover, evaluate, and purchase products on the platform.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Leader - Storefront who will own the end-to-end customer-facing product experience including homepage, discovery, curation, merchandising, search, personalization, conversion funnels, and repeat purchase loops.
This role is at the intersection of product, consumer psychology, merchandising, UX, and growth, and requires someone who deeply understands how consumers browse, discover, and purchase in modern commerce platforms.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN PRODUCT MANAGEMENT IS MANDATORY

What This Person Will Own:
App Experience:
- Homepage experience
- Collections and merchandising
- Category pages
- Product listing and product detail pages
- Overall storefront navigation and UX
Search & Discovery:
- Search ranking and relevance
- Discovery journeys
- Browse behavior optimization
- Filters, sorting, recommendations
- Merchandising logic and product visibility
Curation & Merchandising Logic:
- Collection building
- Product placement logic
- Seasonal and thematic merchandising
- Premium / quality positioning through product storytelling
- Brand and product discovery journeys
Conversion Funnel:
- Browse - Product - Cart - Checkout funnel


- Conversion optimization across funnel stages
- Experimentation and A/B testing
- Pricing visibility, bundles, nudges, and merchandising tactics
Repeat Purchase & Growth Loops:
- Repeat purchase behavior
- Retention and engagement loops
- Wishlist, reminders, replenishment flows
- Lifecycle product features
- CRM/product-led growth features
Personalisation:
- Homepage personalisation
- Product recommendations
- Repeat behavior-based merchandising
- Cohort-based discovery experiences
Ideal Background:
We are looking for product leaders from consumer internet / ecommerce / marketplace companies, especially those who have worked on storefront, discovery, merchandising, or growth product areas.
Target Companies
- Consumer commerce or discovery-led platforms
What Good Looks Like:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Built or owned homepage / storefront / merchandising experience
- Worked on search ranking or discovery systems
- Strong UI/UX and product design instincts
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and purchase psychology
- Experience building 0 - 1 or early-stage product features
- Strong product thinking around conversion, retention, and discovery
- Ability to combine data + taste + merchandising judgment

- Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments
Red Flags (What We Want to Avoid)
- Only roadmap execution without product thinking
- Requires multiple layers of alignment to ship features
- No understanding of merchandising, storytelling, or consumer experience
- Pure platform/backend product managers without consumer product exposure
- Candidates who have only worked on internal tools or enterprise products
- Low ownership or slow execution speed

What did you ship in your first 60 days in your last role?We want builders, not coordinators.

What metrics did you personally track and optimize?We expect strong comfort with product metrics and experimentation.
Summary of the Role:
This is a high-ownership product leadership role responsible for building a discovery-led, premium commerce storefront experience. The person in this role will directly influence how customers experience the platform, how products are discovered, and how conversion and retention are built through product and merchandising logic.
