Job Description

    As a Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically appealing furniture designs that meet customer requirements and market trends. Your role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and developing furniture pieces, preparing detailed drawings and prototypes, selecting materials and finishes, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring designs meet quality standards. Additionally, you will stay updated on design trends, create presentations for clients, customize designs, and conduct research on new techniques and materials.
    Key Responsibilities:
    - Conceptualize, design, and develop furniture pieces based on customer requirements and market trends.
    - Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and prototypes using design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp.
    - Select suitable materials, finishes, and fabrics for furniture production.
    - Collaborate with production, carpentry, and interior design teams to ensure feasibility and quality.
    - Stay updated on latest design trends, ergonomics, and sustainability practices.

    - Create mood boards, sample presentations, and design catalogues for clients.
    - Ensure designs meet safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness standards.
    - Work closely with clients to customize designs as per their preferences.
    - Conduct research on new techniques, materials, and innovations in furniture design.
    Qualifications Required:
    - Bachelors degree/Diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
    - Proven experience as a Furniture Designer or in a similar role.
    - Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, etc.).

    - Strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail.
    - Knowledge of furniture production processes and materials.
    - Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    - Experience in modular furniture design.
    - Awareness of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.
    - Strong visualization and presentation abilities.
