Head Of Accounting

The Head of Accounting will be responsible for establishing and leading the company’s financial operations, ensuring strong cost control, inventory management, and financial compliance. This role requires manufacturing industry expertise, particularly in food packaging, and experience in UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and ERP systems (preferably Odoo). The ideal candidate should have a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.

Financial Strategy & Control

· Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Green Feels Industries business objectives.

· Establish financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS standards.

· Provide strategic financial insights to support growth, cost efficiency, and business decision-making.

Cost Accounting & Inventory Management

· Set up plant accounting procedures to track production costs, monitor operating expenses, and measure manufacturing efficiency.

· Oversee inventory valuation, cost allocation, and waste management, ensuring accurate cost control.

Compliance & Regulatory Management

· Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, IFRS, and other financial regulations.

· Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, audits, and financial statements.

· Manage the fixed assets register, ensuring accurate tracking, capitalization, and depreciation calculations.

Financial Operations & Reporting

· Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability.

· Supervise payables, receivables, payroll, and bank transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing.

· Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits and compliance reviews.

ERP & Technology Integration

· Implement and optimize ERP systems (preferably Odoo) to streamline financial operations and reporting.

· Drive automation and digital transformation in financial processes to enhance efficiency.

Leadership & Team Management

· Supervise and mentor the finance team, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and cost accountants.

· Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and innovation within the finance department.

· Collaborate with senior management and other departments to ensure financial alignment with business operations.
