Job Description
Position : Investment Monitoring Specialist - Global Private Equity Fund (6-8 yrs)
Role
- Work closely on building long term relationships with top management and key stakeholders of portfolio companies and monitoring performance of portfolio companies
- Providing regular reports and metrics on portfolio companies to key stakeholders
- Provide key inputs on business, commercial and financial due diligence on potential investee companies
- Work on transaction execution
- Provide analytical support to the international team on business assessment, strategic initiatives, market developments/trends as well as regulatory changes with the objective of ensuring a sustainable investment portfolio
- Work closely with global teams
- The position will require frequent travel across the country to existing portfolio companies and potential investee companies
Requirements
- The company is looking for a flexible and highly motivated entrepreneurially spirited individual with multi-disciplinary technical expertise
- MBA (Premier Institute)/ CA
- 6-8 years of financial services experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory or one of the Big Four
- Experience in management reporting/ investment monitoring/ portfolio Company monitoring
- In-depth understanding of FDI and FPI investment management as well as different investment strategies, the regulatory framework, and requirements
- Expert corporate finance knowledge with hands-on due diligence, transaction execution, and business development experience
- Ability and experience in dealing with clients as well as C-suite and key stakeholders at private and public companies
- Experience in working with global teams in Asia, the Middle East and Europe
- Entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to think outside the box
- Willingness to travel extensively across India with some international travel to Asia and Europe also required
- Good oral and written communication skills
