Role:
– Responsible for reviewing and updating existing criteria and developing new criteria, to ensure its relevance to changing market dynamics.
– Identify lacuna in criteria usage, prepare user manuals and training modules to ensure consistent application.
– Create and regularly disseminate unique/critical credit analysis through knowledge sharing platforms.
– Review identified credit ratings for developing early warning signals.
– Run regular credit vulnerability identification exercises across groups to ensure timely rating actions.
– Collaborate with analytical teams across groups to execute high impact projects such as improving rating quality output,productivity augmentation, streamlining processes.
– Develop critical understanding of regulatory guidelines of credit rating agencies and support in their implementation.
– New product development, which may involve wide ranging consultation with industry players, investors and regulators

– Education: MBA/CA
– Experience –Overall relevant experience of 5-7 years. Minimum 3 years of experience in credit policy function, preferably a credit rating agency or a bank
– Have a sound understanding of credit rating methodology and criteria with demonstrated ability to understand the fundamentals of the criteria
– Have an innate understanding of rating process
– Demonstrated superior analytical skills
– Ability to handle large volumes of data and arrive at relevant conclusions. Sound knowledge of excel functionalities and formulas and programming using R, Python etc.
– Sound balance sheet analysis
– Proficiency in handing external database (e.g. Bloomberg, ACE Equity).
– Prior work experience/ knowledge on model development and/or validation will be an added advantage
– Sound knowledge of preparing PowerPoint presentations and good report writing skills
– Collaborating with analytical teams across groups and working closely with them on various projects
