Company Description Gubba Cold Storage Ltd., part of Gubba Group Ltd., is a leading provider of cold storage services based in Hyderabad, India. Established in 1987 as Andhra Pradeshs first commercial cold storage, the company has grown into one of Indias largest names in preservation. Gubba operates 25 different chambers designed for varied temperature and humidity requirements, including low, high, and normal humidity cold storage. The company offers custom chambers for foundation seeds and tailored storage solutions to meet specialized client needs. Backed by modern technologies, expanded facilities, and a trained professional team, Gubba serves a wide range of domestic and multinational customers.
Role Description The Customer Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Secunderābād. This role is responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth in alignment with company objectives. Day-to-day activities include engaging with existing and prospective clients, understanding their cold storage and preservation needs, and proposing suitable solutions and service packages. The role involves preparing and delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and coordinating with internal operations and support teams to ensure high service quality and timely delivery. The manager will also track account performance, monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated strength in Customer Satisfaction, with a track record of building long-term client relationships and resolving issues effectively.
  • Experience in Account Management, including managing key accounts, maintaining pipelines, and meeting account growth targets.
  • Proven ability in Sales and Business Development to generate leads, convert opportunities, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Strong Negotiation skills, including experience with pricing discussions, contract terms, and win-win deal closures.

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfort working on-site in a warehousing or cold storage environment and collaborating with operations teams.
  • Experience in logistics, cold chain, or storage services is an advantage, along with proficiency in CRM tools and basic data analysis.
